KONAR was established on March 3, 1987. In its early years, the company specialized in the production of agricultural equipment. In the 1990s, the product range was expanded to include truck bodies. Thanks to a well-thought-out development strategy, the company has grown and is now located in a modern facility in Stęszew at 2 Poniatowskiego Street (Poznań–Wrocław road, 18 km south of Poznań).

The company’s premises cover an area of 3 hectares.

The JG trailer with a turntable is a two-axle O4 category trailer with a GVW of 11,990–18,000 kg. Its high durability in demanding conditions makes it ideal for transporting heavy materials, such as in the construction industry, as well as for agriculture, transporting bulk materials like grain.

JG6 Trailers


The heavy two-axle JG6 trailer occurs in category O4 in the range of GVW from 12,000–21,000 kg. The JG6 trailer is made of high-grade steel. It occurs in versions for container transport (BDF), box, tarped box (curtain), dump truck. It is intended for the transport of heavy goods, including oversized items. A strong, solid trailer chassis, suspended on low wheels, allows achieving 3 m of cargo space height inside. The JG6 trailer is mainly used in international transport and construction transport.

KONAR is the only manufacturer in Poland producing lift-gate systems designed for loading mini-mulda containers. Commonly known as “bramowiec,” these devices are available in two models: BK25S with a lifting capacity of up to 2,500 kg and BK35S with a lifting capacity of up to 3,800 kg.

These lift-gates are mainly mounted on light commercial vehicles ranging from 3,500 kg to 7,500 kg GVW. Aluminum trailers are a type of lightweight trailer in category O3 with a GVW up to 10,000 kg, designed to maximize payload efficiency.

By using carefully selected aluminum alloys, we have created trailers in which the entire structure, except for the axle mounts and drawbar eye, is made of aluminum.

Vehicles for Scandinavia

Trailers destined for the Scandinavian market stand out from our other products with several distinctive features.

These vehicles are built for the heaviest-duty applications: GVW up to 40 t for trailers and up to 38 t for semi-trailers.

Three-axle trailers and semi-trailers often feature a self-steering rearmost axle, where the wheels turn automatically when cornering. In addition, such axles are frequently equipped with wireless remote steering, which significantly facilitates maneuvering in tight spaces.

Lift axles are standard on every trailer to reduce tire wear when driving with partial loads.

A hallmark of Scandinavian vehicles is their maximum versatility. In the standard version, the platform is equipped with:

  • sockets for stakes/bunks for timber transport,
  • special racks enabling the placement of blocking posts for securing cargo,
  • cross-members with twistlock sockets for 20-ft ISO containers,
  • brackets to support loading ramps,
  • holders for storing stakes,
  • and deck recesses for carrying aluminum loading ramps.

They are also fitted with numerous toolboxes, oversize load boards/signs, warning beacons, and work lights to illuminate the cargo area and the ground around the entire vehicle.

Given the specific weather conditions in Scandinavia, vehicles operating there require excellent corrosion protection. The protective treatments used in KONAR’s production process—abrasive blasting, application of a zinc coating by thermal spray metallization, and multi-layer painting—provide comprehensive protection for steel components. Moreover, after over 10 years of KONAR trailers on that market, their effective anti-corrosion protection has become a defining hallmark.
